Used as a lubricant
Fluorinated silicone oil can form a molecular assembly film with an outer chemical composition of -CF3 and high hydrophobicity and oleophobicity on the surface of the substrate through chemical adsorption, which can greatly reduce the friction coefficient of the substrate and make it have good wear resistance under low load.
When trifluoropropyl silicone oil is used as a grease base oil, it can significantly improve the lubricity between steel and steel boundaries; for the watch industry and micro-mechanical industry, since the surface energy of such compounds can be as low as 20mN/m, the surface friction coefficient can be reduced, and it can also be used as a high-grade lubricant. Lubricants prepared from fluorosilicone oil, perfluoropolyether, polyphenylene ether, etc. are used for the lubrication of record drives, laser printers and other electronic machinery. They can continuously withstand high temperatures above 121°C and do not decompose under high speed conditions of 1.4 million per minute, and make the lubricated objects have reliable performance.
Typical applications:
1. Lubricating oil for vacuum pumps used to handle chemical reaction gases;
2. Lubricating oil for bearings in extremely low and high temperature environments;
3. Chemically inert to fuels and other chemicals, used in steam power cycle systems;
4. Base oil for thickening grease;
5. Grease base oil for the watch industry and micro-mechanical industry.
