Polyether modified silicone oil is modified by grafting polyether segments onto the hydrophobic siloxane main chain. The silicone part in polyether modified silicone oil provides: reducing surface tension, UV resistance, adjusting gloss and viscosity, silicone is hydrophobic but not lipophilic. The polyether part provides: polar groups, different degrees of water solubility and lipophilicity.
