Application fields of MQ silicone resin
1. Defoaming agent field: improve the high temperature resistance, strong alkali resistance and foam suppression performance of defoaming agents
1.1. MQ can be used to prepare high temperature and strong alkali resistant silicone defoamer. Application in high temperature and strong alkali resistant defoamer: Mainly by adding medium and high viscosity hydroxyl silicone oil and MQ silicone resin to synthesize high degree of branching. Network polymer to improve the high temperature and strong alkali resistance of the defoaming agent, the dosage is between 5-10%
1.2. The smaller the MQ ratio of the defoaming agent prepared by compounding MQ silicone resin and polyether modified silicone oil, the more complex the spatial network structure will be, which is more conducive to improving the antifoaming performance of the defoaming agent. However, if it is too small, it will be difficult to dissolve in methyl silicone oil.
2. Release agent field: Improve the release durability of the release agent, and the release effect of highly adhesive resins (such as polyurethane, epoxy resin, etc.) is more ideal;
3. Waterproofing agent field: The structure of polysiloxane determines that silicone resin is hydrophobic. Its contact angle with water is greater than 90° and is used in waterproofing materials.
4. Silicone rubber reinforcing filler: MQ silicone resin is used as reinforcing agent. Liquid silicone rubber products have certain mechanical strength and high transmittance, and the rubber has good fluidity before vulcanization;
5. Silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive reinforced tackifier: adjusts cohesion, adhesion and initial tack;
6. Cosmetics field: used as a surface protective coating to eliminate the stickiness of silicone oil, improve slipperiness, scratch resistance, and enhance gloss;
7. Peel-off regulator for addition-type anti-adhesive agents: Vinyl MQ silicone resin can be used as a peel-off regulator for addition-type anti-adhesive agents;
8. Hydrogen-containing MQ silicone resin is mainly used as a cross-linking agent for hydrosilylation vulcanized silicone rubber and as a raw material for other modified MQ silicone resins;
9. Other unfinished and undeveloped applications.
